Rafat Shantir

Rafat Shantir is the Co-founder of Study in Jordan and the driving force behind establishing centers in both Palestine and Germany. Through his leadership, these centers have become important hubs for education, cultural exchange, and community engagement, supporting refugees, international volunteers, and local youth.

Rafat holds a Master’s degree in International Business from Aalen University and brings over 17 years of professional experience in youth development, intercultural dialogue, and community-based initiatives. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with international participants and NGOs across Europe and has volunteered in several countries, including Spain, Mongolia, and Jordan. He has also collaborated with grassroots organizations to design and implement programs that promote mutual understanding, language learning, and social inclusion.

His work focuses on creating meaningful opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds to connect, learn, and contribute to their communities. By combining his academic background with extensive hands-on experience, Rafat has played a key role in expanding Study in Jordan’s impact across multiple countries, empowering young people and fostering cross-cultural collaboration on a global scale.
